Some series begin with a plan. This one began on a morning when the fog never lifted and the whole field turned the same soft white as the sky. Use this space to tell the story behind the pictures: where you were, what you went looking for and what you found instead.
Write the way you would talk to a friend over coffee. People come for the photographs, but they stay for the voice behind them. If a sentence sounds like a brochure, cut it and say the simple thing you actually meant. Nobody expects a novel, just a little honesty about the day.
Keep it short. A few paragraphs and a single strong frame are often enough. You can always come back later, add a detail you forgot or swap the image for one you like better.
